Q1: What does "Charlie Mike" mean?

A1: "Charlie Mike" is a military phrase meaning "Continue Mission", or
"the Mission Continues". We use it to describe our Career Fairs, to remind
veterans that returning to the civilian workforce doesn't have to be a
scary plunge into a different world, but rather it can be seen as just the
next step in a continuing mission of service with excellence.
Q2: What does "Bravo Zulu" mean?
A2: "Bravo Zulu" is a military phrase meaning "Well Done". We use it
to describe our career fairs that are primarily aimed at small and micro
businesses that may not have Human Resources departments. It's our
way of congratulating them for stepping up and adding experienced,
educated employees to their work force by hiring our nation's veterans.
Q3: How are your "Bravo Zulu" Career Fairs different
from the "Charlie Mike" Career Fairs?

A3: The Bravo Zulu events are held in smaller venues, usually
veterans' organizations like American Legion or VFW posts.
They are designed primarily for small and veteran-owned
businesses that only need to hire 1 or 2 veterans, and are
prepared to hire immediately or very shortly after the event.

Charlie Mike events, on the other hand, are held in larger
spaces such as major hotels and convention centers. They
are designed to accomodate larger employers with Human
Resource departments. They attract much larger crowds,
and because the jobs tend to be more corporate, the hiring
process is usually more complex and tends to take longer.

Q4: What makes your Career Fairs different from all the rest?

A4: A We Hire Heroes Career Fair and civilian boot camp is unlike any
other you have attended, and there are three reasons why.

First, we draw our candidates directly from America's huge untapped
well of highly trained military veterans. This means you'll not only be
enjoying the company of true professionals, you'll also be operating
in a professional environment that lends itself to strong networking,
and a natural inclination to put your best foot forward. We turn this
phase of your job search into an adventure, not a chore.

Second, unlike regular Career Fairs, we provide our participating
vendors with powerful, state of the art marketing services that
benefit them before the event, during the event, and long after
the event is over. These include:

• Inclusion in all career fair advertising and promotion

• Live radio exposure

• Live video interviews, promoted on our video blog
and social media network

• Newspaper advertising

• Complimentary job listings on WeHireHeroes.US

• Space to interview job candidates

• Speaking time on our Civilian Boot Camp stage

• More!

Finally, we provide the classes and services of our own Civilian Boot
Camp
. Provided by veterans, for veterans and their employers, this
bonus benefit helps candidates prepare themselves for more effective
networking, interviewing, and little-known guerrilla job search tactics.
No other Career Fair provides this kind of information on site, where
it can immediately be put to use and generate positive results.

Q5: What is your marketing plan to attract qualified candidates?

A5: We publicize our events in military newspapers, on local television,
on radio and podcasts, social media, at veterans organizations, and a
whole lot more.

Q6: How often are your events held?
A6: Currently, we hold events bi-weekly, on the second and fourth
Tuesdays of each month, at local hotel (Charlie Mike) and veterans
organization (Bravo Zulu) sites. As we expand, we will schedule
events more often. Check our Events page regularly to stay informed
of our future plans.
Q7: Where are your events held?
A7: We've started scheduling events in our home base of Tampa Bay,
Florida. Throughout 2016, we'll be expanding to the other four major
Florida markets (Miami, Orlando, Jacksonville, and the Panhandle),
and from there we'll start building a nationwide presence. Stay tuned!
Q8: What types of jobs are your candidates looking for?
A8: As one of America's most popular veterans' job sites, we have
more than four years' experience connecting employers and veterans.
Clients have filled positions in the shipping/receiving, warehouse, sales,
plumbing, roofing, retail, logistics, IT administration, and customer
service fields, to name a few. Check out or Featured Jobs page for a
quick overview of the kinds of postitions seeking veterans right now.
